Magda Azab Biography

Magda Azab is an Italian-Egyptian illustrator who’s taken up residence on the beautiful island of Malta where she spends her time creating colorful illustrations and brand work for clients. She often depicts characters in her work and uses visual language to tell the stories of her clients, both individuals and brands. Her work combines geometric and graphic shapes and objects in various textures and finishes, in harmonious color palettes. Her flat design graphics are recognizable whether as illustrations or infographics, often character-centered and humorous – playing with proportions or/and layout.

 Magda’s positive outlook on life, passion for the craft and attention to detail seems to be the winning combo that brings her work to life.Her clients include Mondadori, Daily Telegraph, La Stampa, L’unità, Donna Moderna, Endless Vacation Magazine, Teatru Malta, Arts Council Malta, Infinity TV, Skytg24, Cellularline and Lucana Film Commission.
