Aleksandra Artymowska Biography

Aleksandra Artymowska is an award winning illustrator and author of children’s books with a focus on intricate details, mazes, and  surprising stories. She has created over 20 books for children, published in more than 20 countries worldwide.

She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland, where she is currently based. She adores traveling to unusual places and lived in China for several years. 

Aleksandra loves creating various types of books for children, including picture books, activity books, spotting and maze books, board books, lift-the-flap books, comics and non-fiction. She also works on editorial illustrations and murals.

She is a co-founder and board member of the Society of Polish Illustrators.
