Atieh Sohrabi Biography

Atieh Sohrabi is a Brooklyn-based illustrator who has been illustrating children’s books, magazines and book covers since 2002. She studied Industrial Design at Azad Art University in Tehran, Iran. She also has experience in graphic design, animation and advertising. Her clients include NPR, Kitchn Magazine, Medium and Reycraft Books, and one of her works has recently been acquired by the LACMA. She has been awarded the Diploma of Honor from the Children’s Book Council of Iran, the Salam Book festival, and the Tehran International Bienniale of Illustration. Her work has been exhibited in galleries of Denmark, Iran, Japan, Germany, Slovakia and USA.
